Before extraction, this Rehamannia root is prepared in the traditional way by processing the roots with wine and a variety of other herbs. This makes the roots soft and more easily extracted when cooked, increasing the herb's bioavailabilty.

Starting dosage is 1/4 tsp (about 1/2 gram). To brew an instant tonic tea, mix 1/4 to 1/2 tsp into warm or hot water and enjoy! Blend into soups, foods, or smoothies. Store in a cool, dry place.
