About Cintamani

Cintamani Tonics has arisen from a deep dedication to sharing the wisdom of plants with the world.

Cintamani (Chin-ta-mani) is a Sanskrit term for "Wish Granting Jewel," and can also be correlated to the "Philosophers Stone" of Western Alchemy.  There are numerous depictions of this "wish fulfilling jewel" in the wisdom traditions of Asia, including India, China, and Japan.

The Cintamani stone is a representation of true freedom, a gift of grace.

In Tibetan and Nepalese mythology, Guru Dzambhala is a Bodhisattva of equanimity, and the giver of this magical stone. Anytime an individual moves in the slightest direction that is of benefit to All life, Dzambhala waves his victory banner wildly in celebration and offers a wish granting Cintamani stone to help the individual fulfill their ultimate goal of liberation.

This name felt fitting for an offering of herbs, teas, and information that supports our path of cultivation in this blessed life.

May Cintamani Tonics support others in knowing and fulfilling the deepest calling of their heart.  Thank you for being here!

Dzambala Snow Leopard Mongoose Cintamani Stone Thangka.jpg

This Thankga painting depicts Guru Dzambhala in traditional Tibetan style. He is seen riding his magic snow leopard, waving his victory banner, and holding his magic mongoose under his left arm. The mongoose, Nehulay, naturally has the power to defeat snakes, and represents triumph over the lower realms. When gently squeezed by Dzambhala, Nehulay produces a Cintamani stone, and spits it out at Dzambhala's feet. The wish-fulfilling jewel is blessing of Grace and abundance that supports the recipient in their quest for Enlightenment and Compassion for All Beings.
